That's basically what Cousins said. "The signs were all around me, I just wasn't paying attention". And "I used to go home stressed out, pulling my hair out, and just pray that I could get some help in Sacramento". Then something about how his prayers were answered but not in the way that he expected.

I think it is dumb for them to ask wuestions like a child and I think a lot of that was due to the bs in Sacramento. He seems like a smart and cool guy.
I think the idea of him being a toxic teammate needs to be squashed for the moment and let him prove himself first.

His emotional issues go back past Sacramento.
I largely agree with your overall point that Sac-town and that situation should get more responsibility and think he should be allowed to prove himself, but asking tough but fair questions is completely justified IMO.
And frankly, Cousins seemed to be pretty candid with his responses to them. Which is refreshing and a good sign.
