Was just watching a clip from the Magic game... Wow is all I can say when I saw all the empty seats. Has the attendance sucked this bad all season?? I haven’t been able to watch a game this season because of work, but the lack of attendance is startling. Will the Pels even still be in New Orleans in 5-10 years?

Our attendance is on par with the Lakers if you factor in the size of the arena. STFU.

I'm a huge fan but there's no way you can deny that attendance last night was horrific...almost entire sections of the upper deck were empty.

It was a Tuesday night in Feb with one team whose season is all but over and another who is devoid of any stars trying to maybe make it as a 8 seed in the East. Not surprised attendance was low for this one

A lot of tickets have been sold this year. There have been many no shows.

Yeah I think we do well on Tickets sold. I read we had 10k season tickets sold for this season. I understand the circumstances suck recently but in general we need more fans in the building. As much as I hate the falcons we should look into adopting their concessions pricing model. I don’t goto a game to eat but I will drink a few draught beers. If the holy rollers were $5-6 instead of $9 I would go in a bit earlier to watch warmups and drink a few.

We are arguably the the worst fanbase in NA major league sports which is amazing because the Saints fanbase is top 10 and their stadium is 250 feet away

Worst fan base? Really? 9k people showed up for a practice and we sold over 10k season tickets. Attendance sucks because Our team has been decimated by injuries, oh and AD quit. Wtf did you think would happen with attendance?

Who is worse that doesn't have a more tenuous lease situation than we do (meaning that Oakland teams and Tampa Rays dont count).

Not even the worst fanbase in the NBA. The SKC has sold out Everytime this team has done well which has been few and far between unfortunately. When they went on their run last year, those 25ish home games averaged a sell out.

Meanwhile you had the Hawks playing to half empty arenas the season they won 60. Remember the home game they played that year again Boston that was 50% Celts fans?

The Pels are locked into their lease for 4-5 more years and there is no out clause. What do you mean by tenuous? With the new league economics probably the biggest threat to the team is the rapidly rising valuations. If this team sells it’s a lot more likely to be about crazy ROI than fan interest.

I’d say that’s true for most teams. That TV money and enhanced revenue sharing makes it very hard to lose money owning a team. A lot of people talk about moving a team to Seattle or Vegas, it might take another expansion to make that happen.

Couldn't get a reasonable price playoff ticket last year. They fricked up that momentum. Just like anywhere winning sells.

Just the NBA. frick, the Lakers average a shade under 19k in an arena that holds 21k. We average a shade under 15750 in an arena that holds 17791. Stop talking out of your arse. The problem with this team isn’t fan support. The problem with this team is injuries, and a bitch at the 4 who was too selfish to play the 5.
