BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - WAFB and Gray Media are thrilled to announce that Cox Cable will now offer the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network (GCSEN), bringing New Orleans Pelicans games to Cox Cable subscribers in the New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Mobile-Pensacola areas. All 75 non-national network games are set to air on GCSEN, ensuring fans can catch every thrilling moment of the action.
With the Pelicans season opener against Chicago Wednesday Oct 23, Cox subscribers in Baton Rouge will temporarily find this game on channel 125. On Friday Oct. 25, Cox will put the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network on its permanent home, Cox channel 22.

Yeah, I just spoke with them. They have no plans for providing the service this year as of now.
Maybe if enough people ask, it will expedite the process. I just told them that Cox struck a deal very recently to have the games available.

I guess it’s a good news, bad news situation if you have Cox in Lafayette then. If the channel doesn’t launch until Friday, we are going to miss the Chicago game tomorrow night, but I guess the channel goes live for our second game against Portland

I have Cox in Lafayette. Is it on channel 22 for Cox subscribers?

I just checked my guide. We don’t have a channel 22 in Lafayette. I found an article that Fox 8 put out in NOLA with their channels. It is channel 129 tomorrow and channel 10 after Friday in NOLA. I can’t find anything on Lafayette’s channels. If someone can find what the Cox channels are for Lafayette and post it, that would be greatly appreciated.

So just to make sure I follow, if I have an antenna in Lafayette, the channel shouldn’t be there tonight?
It’s not an antenna problem right, it’s a channel problem?
