Honestly, I think steps one and two are more likely than not.
It's step three that's the real long shot. But anything is possible.

Kings just beat the Thunder, so now we are tied with them for the 9th best lottery odds.
That's huge if we can hold it.

Tonight is a must lose game. Another win makes the 9th spot in the lottery unlikely and a Mavericks loss would help the Lakers odds of getting the 6th seed and avoid the play in game much more likely. Another game like Monday's with the youngun's playing well and losing a close game would be ideal.
