Pacers are a league-worst 1-13 and Pels are 2-12. We had both picks 5 months ago…

This season would be sort of fun if it wasn't for Joe Dumars' dumbass. I would be delighted to play the young guys, fire Willie, trade Zion and hope for the next franchise saving talent to not be wasted.

Crazy to see the Pacers go from being 1 game away from winning an NBA championship to being the league's worst team within 6 months.
They did lose 2 of their best 3 players so it isn't mind blowing, but it goes to show how important it is to have a couple stars on your team for success in the NBA.

Yep, potentially gave away the 1st and 5th picks in a loaded draft.

This is a deliberate destruction of the franchise to help justify a relocation.

They have the same or even worst injury luck as Pels last year.
McConnell, Mathurin, Nesmith, Toppin and now even the reserves are getting injured. Or they are simply tanking because they have their pick back.

And yet I was told numerous times by the know it alls on here the Pacers were a playoff lock….

I always believed it would fall just inside the top 10 or 12.

The protection of the pick went away once it was traded back to the Pacers. The pick is no longer protected.
