---First, a small market like NO has no chance to be a serious contender without thinking waaaay outside the box
---So, we become Golden State Part 2
---First, we need a "Draymond" (ohh wait, we've got him)
---Then, we get rid of any small PG unless he can shoot lights out & defend.
---Then, we get rid of any BIG center unless he can shoot from outside & defend
---I could actually go on & on with this...but I think you get the gist of what I'm saying. It's totally doable...once you round up the most important part...The Draymond.
---By the way, superstars are totally optional, which is the best part of this diabolical plan.

draymond greene is on gsw.

you do not have a defender on pels like him.

fwiw green was big10 poy before knee injury.
he passes well and the game slowed down for him in college.
there are no pel bigs with his skillsets.

I think he’s saying Herb will be Draymond, and I’m not sure I disagree.

---The past 6 years, DG's 3 pt % has been 29%, 27%, 27%, 28%, 30% and 30%. This is the MAJOR weakness in DG's overall game. FWIW: Herb is ALREADY...a better 3 pt % shooter than DG, and he's gonna get much better. Probably shooting 40% this year IF we would just cut off his big toe on his left foot.

--- The more you look into my "plan" to totally revamp the Pels...the better it looks. Easy to remake an entire team to kinda reflect the Warriors, when you already have the key ingredient...imo

Everyone here could go on and on with ideas. It doesnt really matter or you cant pretend to be a GM unless you mention names.

Which point guard do we get rid of and who is the guy that we get back that can shoot the lights out?

What big do we get rid of and who is going to take his place?

Its easy to say this crap and act like you're thinking outside the box or Dinky the GM, but it really doesnt matter unless you can name players and realistic trades.

Sorry...had to edit. The hardest part of my "plan"...is to actually pull the trigger and make the massive change in philosophy. The picking of players to add AND subtract would be much easier. BTW: I really like Josh Hart, he would be a keeper...especially once he goes to work on that 3-pt shot.

Cmon Dink, dont just edit it and leave it at no reply. No joke, I am genuinely interested to see you being a GM that actually requires some thought and real players.

---Sorry...I just totally screwed up my reply. I get kinda lost at times, when trying to post here...I just recently learned how to use the "quote" thingy, so bear with me & understand what you're dealing with...

---Anywho, I don't like to make long posts here, as I'm fresh meat & apparenly many thought/think I'm some weird troll fella that comes & goes around here. So, trying to keep things short (at least, for me) I'll just say that if we went "Totally Golden State", I think we could all probably agree on the type players we'd want to have...and NOT have...to fit that situation. Easiest way to answer specifics is to just say, "If GS wants a player and thinks he fits THEIR style...THAT is who I want for the Pels".

---I could go very long on specifics but I think I already have enough folks around here that are sick & tired of my ranting (especially about Herb). But, I WILL say, I just love all the possibilities, if we go "TGS".
