Would make no sense at all for either team.

A Jazz blog brought up a Jones for Shelvin Mack swap. Seems to make sense for both teams.

Damn, his 3p% is garbage

Dude is a complete idiot and has a player option for next year that I wouldn't want him to take.

Honestly try and use it to get bad contracts off the books would be the most helpful going forward long term.

that will happen in june (asik at least)
if they get lucky on a taker for ajinca, fine...if not, his salary is right in the wheelhouse of greasing the skids for a decent trade later on

deal with those two, and there's no more "bad" contracts. we need to all get used to the back of the roster being minimum/one-year guys, because with three gargantuan contracts thats all they'll be able to do as the cap flattens out. fortunately demps has shown to be adept at that

Could throw in the right to swap 2nds or something, too.

This would be ideal.

Would love to see us try to steal Tyus Jones from MN. Nice reserve PG on a oldschool rookie deal for 2 more years.

I also wonder if they will try to go after someone like Tony Snell also who could be a very good 3&D 2/3 if he had a higher IQ. He will be an RFA, but doubt he commands real money in the offseason.

Atlanta shopping Tim Hardaway Jr. and looking for a couple of 2nd's is pretty intriguing to me.

Why do the jazz need another big?

According to that blog post Favors isn't fully healthy right now, and Lyles is having a down season.

That was when they were giving up on the season and shopping Milsap. Doesn't seem to have sat well with fans and they didn't get the offers they wanted for Milsap. He is a significant player for ATL. DOubt they would still have him avaialbel for that when they are 1/2 game out of the 4 spot in the East.

Yes, believe so. I found it strange that he would be available bc as mentioned he seemed like a fairly important piece.

Yeah, unless ATL has cap issues I have no idea why they'd trade THJ. He has been fantastic of late.

Re: Morrow.

Yeah his FG pct looks bad this year, but a lot of that has to do with how Donovan uses him. He definitely sucks on D (which isn't for lack of effort), so he never plays, which in turns makes it hard for him to get into any kind of rhythm.
