It's time to go all in and build the roster around Ingram. Zion is too unreliable to depend on and you can not go into next season hanging your head on him to last a full season.

They absolutely need to sign/trade for a PF who can play big minutes. We can't go another season with a giant hole behind him.

This! And Trey, Herb, and Dyson fit perfectly with him. I would get a rim protector and two more shooters.

Conditioning? What a damn joke. If Zion really wanted to be the star player and be in the playoffs, he would keep up with the regimen. Pelicans are a joke for letting him get out of shape. We need a revamp on our dietitians and training staff.

Is there any other player that had a strain injury and was out for 4 months?

Why did no one press him in on that bullshite response?

It wasn't a press conference

It was only an email sent by the Pelicans PR team

Who is to say it’s not just Zion?

Then they need some balls and call him out on it. Not babysit him.

But it’s Griff, Willie, and the training staff fault that juicy booty can’t put the fork down and rehab his injury!!

In private, sure, but publicly feuding with your star is never a winning play.

I agree but changes need to happen. This shite can’t be happening after so many years in the league.

Memphis was playing a dude so fat last night he made Zion look anorexic.

Translation:

"We thought he would be ready, but he's not."

This is as close as we'll get to Griff throwing Zion under the bus.

Fletch just said the same thing on WDSU... "my opinion... he's healed but just not in shape"

Shitshow. At least now BI knows it’s his show and we can play accordingly. What a fricking joke.

Yep... scold in private praise in public

That statement is as close as you'll get to a team publicly scolding its young superstar

Been watching basketball my entire life---have never heard this being a reason why a star player was out.
