Christ, first the dome gets embarrassed on the national stage of the Super Bowl, now we can't even play a game in the arena during a rain storm. Truly 3rd world level shite here.

In the 300 level. This catch basin is looking shotty. I’m putting mid game breach possibility at extremely likely.

If they don’t get that center with the pipe coming out as the lowest point this can become very comical

I feel like this tarp job is just a metaphor for the Pels season

who's ready for someone to justify firing Gentry because of the roof leak?

quote:

Scott Kushner @ScottDKushner · 4m The roof has been repaired. Players will have a 10 minute warmup coming shortly and they’ll tip off. Thus ends another bizarre saga in Pelicans land.

Also I thought this was funny

quote:

Jeff Nowak @Jeff_Nowak · 5m Update: ‘The roof repairs have been made,’ says the PA announcer. We can only assume he means the tarp with the tube in the bottom ... we’re also assuming this is the permanent solution. #Pelicans Go home New Orleans, you’re clearly drunk.

this truly is a microcosm of our season. using a tarp and funnel to "repair" a massive leak

Who else forgot just how bad the FSNO pregame, halftime, postgame crew was now that we’ve had to watch them for 45 minutes

How many officials does it take to see if the floor is dry?

It'll start leaking in the 3rd quarter for added symbolism.

A tarp, zip ties, a funnel, and a 55 gallon trash can are keeping the court dry. Sweet Jesus
