I have a feeling it was Raduljica for some reason that McNamara is referring to on PR. This would then mean we can flip him to Houston as well. They will need a big to backup Howard after all.

Ely + Gee + Raduljica + 1st for Asik. I'm not sure how that works financially.

That being said, I'd be happy with Gerald Green.

Tiger,

I'm pretty sure you can rescind renouncing a player. Just the other day Dirk was renounced by the Mavs and Parsons by the Rockets. S&T for Smith and Aminu isn't off the table IMO

Someone should call the police because the Pelicans stole Patrick Young.

You can rescind it. But if they are renouncing now it's for a reason most likely. Based on Demps history it's to give them opportunity to find deals. Ie he sees he won't be using them.

Good point. I guess he couldn't work out a S&T possibility for them or they didn't agree to it.

Is Aminu any good on defense?

He's an elite rebounder at SF, and his defense is kind if like Ariza in the sense that sometimes it's good and sometimes you wonder if he gives a damn. Not nearly as good as Ariza though.

If we pull Gerald green and Asik without losing any core pieces I'd be downright shocked.

Scotty Hopson has replaced Alonzo Gee in #Cavs trade w/Hornets for Dwight Powell and Brendan Haywood, per league source. Deal official tmrw

I think there was some talk in here earlier about Hopson getting dealt with Gee, looks like that's not happening now.

Gasol going East instead of to the Spurs or Thunder.

Yeah, I think the East is more balanced now and won't be as terrible, which is going to make keeping our pick more difficult. The Mavs had the 21st pick as the 8 seed, that may not happen again this year.

The Rockets are having a Pierre Jackson situation with their rookie Clint Capella in that he doesn't want to stay in Europe. The problem for the Rockets though is that he's a 1st rounder so unless he agrees to stay over there, which they were counting on, he counts against their cap which they are working hard to clear LINK

Anybody else notice Ajinca sitting front row with our coaches during the SL game last night?

Hard to see him being stuck in any trade.
