Some logo like this for the New Orleans Crescents wouldn't be that bad. I buy something like that on a shirt. You don't even have to put a city in the crescent, you can just put general jackson and the st louis cathedral and it looks good.

Here's a suggestion, if you type a name, imagine it on a jersey or on the side of the court in big letters. If it looks like shite in your head, don't type it.

It's not bad other than the colors. The Purple and Gold is too prominently featured and makes it look too LSUy,

I agree, I like some of the design he uses, I'm actually in the process of tweeking this guys work a little via photoshop, lol I don't plan on taking any credit for this guys work. But I think he's going in the right direction.
