After today, I'm starting to look at our roster and think we really don't have any bad contracts.

At this point we don't need the space. Instead of just dumping why wouldn't you gamble he gets healty enough to play some games and raise his value. Unless you think he is a total cancer, it makes no sense not to try to rehab his value.

Damn this shite sucks. It really seems like we're doing nothing. And will do nothing. This has been a long July 1. All this god damn refreshing, for what? To see what other teams are doing, and to say we were interested in them or we're pursuing someone and nothing happens?!? Damn.

Until Asik shows that last year was at least somewhat of an abberation, it's still a bad contract. (But the Lakers definitely helped change the perception of it)

Best case scenario, you "rehab" his value and get little to nothing for him at the deadline, just like Ryno last year because he is expiring. Oh, and in the rehab process you have given him minutes and shots you could have given to a long term guy.

And that's the best case.

We will be in a really good spot next year for FA money wise, we just need to win some games

The way FA is going I don't see Tyreke leaving especially if we miss out on what's his name too from the Heat.

Money don't matter to these teams, just us.

What really matters is not that the Lakers valued Moxgoz at 16 million a year, it matters if another team is going to put a similar value on niche centers in the Asik/Mozgov mold.

I think a few will but the Lakers paying doest automatically mean the rest of the league will put the same value as they did.

I thought you said prior we were offered a good young player who the majority of the board would have liked for Ryno?

I'm happy with that. It was always Hill or Harkless for me.

Less than 8mil? Have you been paying attention to today?

Will likely be in the range of 10

Would rather have Harkless. I don't know much about Hill honestly.
