Much better than turners deal

That deal is going to be quite the bargain in a few years. $17M/yr for a 23 yr old who shot 40% from 3, can get his own shot, and is still developing is the type of gamble you take. .

Now I really just want to see Ryno to [insert anyone but Pels] for too much monies.

In the old cap Turner deal is still like 12 mil a year. thats a starter top 3 player on a team salary. Blazers got desperate because they couldn't pull a big name and they needed to sign FA this year because all of their cap will be tied up soon. To put even more perspective how shitty that deal is Fournier got less than Turner and he's already a better player, fit, and younger.

I like that OKC S&T MM came up with. But I agree with you, I'm not sure he chooses that. Do you want to go to OKC knowing that if you don't win it all KD and Westbrook are leaving and you're stuck in OKC for 3 more years? The only thing that might make it more attractive is Monty, but we're not even sure if Monty will coach again.

And do you want to constantly defer to KD/Russ and get shite on if your defense gets exposed in the playoffs?

And the best case scenario is you win a title next year, and possibly a few more after that. What's the best case scenario for Sacto or Washington again?

We can all rejoice in not overpaying, but we're still just sittin here with our collective dick in our hand as every decent wing signs elsewhere

That you get a front office position when you retire like all the other former Kings are doing? I can see OKC being more appealing than the Wizards, but I think what Ryan's been through put basketball in a perspective for him where he may value going home more than the average player looking for his 3rd contract.

We should have offered Fournier $20m and made Orlando match.

To some playing in your hometown close to family at a higher salary is more appealing than chasing a ring in Oklahoma getting the Kevin Love treatment without making max.

I just think an OKC S&T for Ryno is unlikely. Too many moving parts.
