is there any chance for a trade like:
Portland get Chris Paul and Julian Wright
Hornets get Brandon Roy and Joel Przybilla
i think that would be freakin sweet

Don't feel like going through all of these pages. My trade idea:
Indiana Gets (approx. 26 Million)
PG Chris Paul
C/PF Emeka Okafor
SF Julian Wright
New Orleans Gets (approx. 25 Million)
SG/SF Paul George
C Roy Hibbert
PF Troy Murphy
SF Mike Dunleavy
Draft Pick
HORNETS
PG Collison / Thornton
SG Pondexter / Thornton / George
SF Dunleavy / Peja / George / Posey
PF West / Murphy /Songaila / Brackins
C Hibbert / Gray
Expiring: Dunleavy, Peja, Murphy, West (player option), Songaila
(40 million / 48 million if West opts out) + team has option to keep Hibbert which I assume we would
Several good young pieces. Obviously wouldn't be competitive this season, but we could basically start from scratch this off-season with all kinds of cap room and a solid nucleus to build around. We probably won't be able to entice a superstar to sign here, but we can sign several good pieces that could possibly make us contenders very soon provided some of the youngsters develop well.
PACERS
PG Paul / Ford / Stephenson
SG Jones / Rush / Stephenson
SF Granger / Rush / Wright
PF Hansbrough / McRoberts
C Okafor / Foster
Expiring: Ford, Foster, Tinsley
(20 Million)
Paul / Granger / Okafor is a solid three punch with some cap room to sign a very solid third/fourth option or they could sign do some work for the bench.
I dunno. Obviously Indiana isn't one of CP's options, but it's something I was thinking about. It's hard to say who is better to get rid out of West and Okafor. Okafor has a long term bad contract, but West has more value talent-wise. Problem is West may very well opt-out and we'd be getting nothing in return.

Portland seems to be the only team that can give anything close to value.
i don't like the cards Portland holds.
Batum doesnt interest me.
Oden= if he wasnt always hurt
Aldridge is the same as david west
Fernandez is cool, but not nearly a centerpiece
Andre miller is old.
and draft picks would all be out of the lottery.
i really think that if its not New York, it could potentially be a team within our own division. Houston or Dallas. Both have some good players to deal, and in Houston's case, has 2 1st Rd picks from NYK that could really be great for us. The one in 2011 is Houstons as long as its not the 1st overall selection, and 2012 is top 5 protected, but still.

if he wants to go to ny or orlando or lal, if we can't get him to agree to go where we trade him, we will hurt ourselves in FA in the future. nobody will want to play for "that" organization

NO is small market and won't be in the hunt for titles the way things are looking with the superteams in Miami, LA, etc. We won't get any FAs of note anyway unless we severely overpay them like Peja's crippled arse.
Somehow, I don't think that telling CP3 to go where we get the best deal is going to hurt us that much because we're pretty much lower than whale shite on most FAs' radar right now anyway.

Say Orlando gives you Jameer Nelson, Marcin Gortat, Vince Carter, Ryan Anderson, and a 1st for Paul, Okafor, and Posey. Now you go into next offseason with about $20 million in cap space to add to a core of Nelson, Collison, Thornton, West, Gortat, Pondexter, Brackins, and likely another lottery pick as well as a late first rounder. You can also swing Nelson for a wing. Nobody can give you value for Chris Paul but Orlando can give you a borderline All-Star PG and a good young center in addition to tremendous instant financial flexibility.

i dont get the love affair with Gortat.
he may be young, but he has basically no upside. He's a stiff and he is over paid.

David West is gone after this year. Player option. He isnt sticking around to play with all those midgets

+11 wins
+13 Wins
Frick over the Lakers
All 3 of these will never happen in a billion years but would be awesome for NO

Chris Paul for Durant and Sefalosha works in the trade machine. Dell should get OKC on the phone.

Obviously not the post above me was pointing out trades that would never happen but work in the trade machine, I was replying with another.

how about we do a 5 team trade with the Blazers, Thunder, Magic, and Bulls
Hornets get Rose, Durant, Roy, Aldridge, Oden and some depth
Hornets get rid of Paul, Posey, Peja, Juju, and Oak.
Other teams get ????
PROFIT!

I believe Durant signed a 5-year deal with OKC, and is reportedly pretty satisfied there.
The team is in the middle of housecleaning, from the front office, to the players, even to the owner. BECAUSE Darren Collison turned out to be full of potential, If Paul's a part of the past, then so be it. You get his contract off the books, and free up a big chunk of cap. Hopefully Okafor goes too. Maybe we pursue Carmelo Anthony later?

CP3 may be the only guy in the NBA that could make Dwight Howard a real MFer on the offensive end of the floor
