No way the Pelicans are in that mix. AD hasn't even won a playoff game yet. Pelicans are not title contenders this year.

I agree, but I do think if they get the right breaks/health they finish at least 2 spots above the general consensus 7th in the West. Simmons is right that the Pels are positioned to exceed expectations.

Why is it such a knock that AD(who just turned 22) couldn't beat a possibly all time great team? It was a very tall order to win even one game(especially when Jrue/Reke weren't near 100%)
No one has said the pels are title contenders but they're being selled a bit short IMO.
