What is the risk to signing someone to a cheap one year deal with a possible team option in the second? There is none.

I think it's hard to keep up with what Jester's arguing for because he's so busy arguing against everything. He argued with most of the stuff I posted today and I think we more or less agree on the big picture of Oden

There absolutely is. Paying him to never so much as practice is an actual risk right now. How much weight you give that risk is up to you, but it most certainly is risk.
