Now might finally be the right time to trade for Myles Turner.

Milwaukee has been open about their desire to get off of Turner and Kyle Kuzma’s contracts so we wouldn’t have to give up much to get him.
Bucks: Jordan Poole (expiring) and a 2nd round pick or two would do it.
Pels: Myles Turner
Poole is on an expiring deal and they know they are going nowhere this year in a full rebuild. We don’t fix the rebounding but we get a good rim protector and shot blocker as well as spacing for Zion. I’d like to see Zion play with a legitimate 3 point threat at center and thats Myles Turner. We would be on the hook until 2029 at $26-$29 mil a year which is easily absorbable.
PG: Murray, Fears
SG: Trey, Peavy/Mcgowens/Pierre Jr.
SF: Herb, Bey
PF: Zion, Queen, Karlo
C: Turner, Missi, Jordan

Salaries dont match up. We cant take on Kuzma’s deal too.

We have enough room under the tax to take him.
Per the trade machine we have 9.4 million under the tax, that trade adds 6 million to our cap so we stay under the tax. It’s a legal trade

If the bucks would take Poole for Turner it would have already happened

Turner and Kuzma for Poole and Hawkins works, and is better if we send Hawkins to Memphis. I’m truly hoping that’s the plan somehow.

They are trying to salary dump, they know they aren't getting a big return but they just want the salary relief. Thats why I included two future 2nd round picks though so its not just Poole for Turner straight up.

The prophesy of this trade has long been foretold on pelstalk.

They are trying to salary dump,
Why do you think this?
They aren't in the tax, or anywhere close to it, and they know they are rebuilding. Why would they care about dumping salary?
trying to get assets for them? sure, but getting rid of them just to dump salary, no.

If we finally get Turner, he will tear his ACL walking up to the microphone during his press conference.

Sorry i wasn't aware that's how it works. I thought you give the guy who's proven he can't be the centerpiece of your franchise an extension instead of trading him away and rebuilding.

Pels aren't doing anything.
We got a lone target.
DeAndre Jordan.
We good.
Run it back.
