Should have drafted Saddiq Bey along with Kira this year. Or Tyrese Maxey, who started for the first time last night and scored 39 points.
Those were my two first choices at 13, and both are doing great. Hell Kira might be doing great if he'd actually get to play.

Brandon Clarke was the safest pick at 8. Would have been a great compliment to Zion. We had two shots at him too.

Hayes and NAW don't seem like great picks...at all

With the right coaching, I could easily see NAW working out. He has the size and the ability, he just needs to work on becoming more consistent.

Hayes was a high risk/high reward pick that looks pretty bad right now. He still has tons of potential but I wonder if he ends up on another team before putting it together.

BI is 23 as well. Some players need time to develop. Hayes may not pan out but he is super young and still needs time.

I really wanted Reddish in the Hayes spot. Neither have shown to be worthy of a lottery pick, but cam has shown flashes this season

Who was the right pick then? Reddish? Clarke? Herro? Rui? Johnson?

There really aren't a heap of guys taken after Jax that are balling out

Yet you just named 5

Bey went 19, Maxey 21, our pick was at 24, so we couldn't have drafted either one.

Also, the 24th pick netted us Adams, and I would rather have him over Bey or Maxey, so we did great.

If there's one thing the last draft proved is that all the players with higher floors than ceilings are generally performing well early on. The guys who are considered highe upside guys are struggling to find their footing a bit. I guess we would have to wait 4-5 seasons to really rate these guys properly. But we dont know if they'll still be here by then. Patience will be thin as long as we play to win.

We gave the 24th pick to Denver, just to get a future 1st to give in the Adams trade. We could have easily just gave away the Lakers 22 1st instead if we wanted to pick at 24, and it would not have been hard at all to move up from 24 to 19 with all the 2nd round picks we have. See Denver wanted two picks in this draft, and we didn't, as evidence by us trading away the two 2nd round picks for cash and future shittier 2nd round picks. The Knicks moved from 27 to 24 by just giving up the 38th pick. The Celtics didn't want to make a pick at 14, and the Mavs didn't care about making their pick at 18. But we've got Thornwell and Hernangomez to develop so no worries.

And like i said, i wanted either of them at 13, and that's not to say i do'nt want Kira. I would have been fine with any of those 3 at 13, as well as Vassell.
We've been in need of a god damn true SF since we were the Hornets, but i guess we didn't like Hunter enough to draft him, which was dumb, and we didn't like Bey enough to go after him, which is also looking dumb..

Yeah, smart move, give up a unprotected 22 pick from a team that's a 38 year old Lebron injury away from being in the lottery.

We are already super young, and have a wing in training in Didi. If you want to argue against trading #4 last season, then I still say your anger is misguided as that trade also netted us the 13 million in cap space to sign Redick.

I get the infatuation with young rookies, but not everyone will be the same player on every team. Bey or Maxey would be in the same boat as Kira with zero playing time here. Instead we used that pick and got Adams, who let's be honest here, is the only reason we have the wins we do.
