Breaking News: Cuban only wants white players. Is owner racist?

I like Favors over Ibaka for this team, but I wouldn't be completely upset with Ibaka

I'm afraid with the Butler move Kawhi is gonna go to the Lakers now

If he were going to the Clippers, he'd have gotten someone to go with him. He didn't.
Ergo, he isn't going to the Clippers. It's either the Lakers or back to Toronto.

Depending on cap situations, he may take a 1+1 with Toronto and try again in a year or two.
AD and Ingram are about the only FAs of significance next year right now, so if there is cap space he could decide he wants to try again then.

Draymond will be an FA as well. But now that KD is gone and Klay didn't get the supermax they'll probably be much more comfortable with resigning him to a max. The big question was going to be if they'd resign him after KD resigned and Klay signed a supermax.
Kawhi could easily take a 1+1 and then be the biggest FA again next season.

Bring that up when he runs for office

Jarret Allen has got to be in the block right? Moore for Allen?

Yeah that can’t afford Jordan contract so they’re getting rid of someone
Nvm Kyrie and KD will take less money to get Deandre

That’s a pretty tenuous assumption to build an argument on.
If an additional superstar were a must have criteria he wouldn’t of wanted to go there last season, made them their first meeting, and be considering Toronto still.
If stars were his primary driver the ink would be drying in Jennie Buss’s office right now. Not wedged in between two superstarless meetings.

Yep Durant and Kyrie are both taking less than max money to give the space to sign Jordan
If Durant comes back at even 80% of his former self, that team will be a nightmare

Ed Davis 2/$10 to Utah. Damn I wish we would’ve gotten him

Ed Davis to Utah on a small deal.

I'd gladly take Allen off their hands, but why get rid of a promising young big making $2 mil/yr?

They won’t, people just like to say dumb shite

A reminder that Kyrie is oft-injured and the other two are on the other side of 30.
I agree if all goes right they will be a really good team, especially with Lavert and that depth, but like the Lakers, there are a lot of "ifs" at stake.

And honestly, I love that.
Because if, fingers crossed, Kawhi doesn't go to the Lakers, there will be more parity in the league than at any time I can remember.
12 teams by a rough count can claim a legitimate shot at winning a title next season and going forward. And that makes me more excited for the NBA season than any time in memory. Especially because it's no longer a long shot that we aren't that far off from being in that number.

They are going to regret the DJ deal. I guess it helped them land KD and Kyrie, but man, you already had Allen in that role for pennies.
