We didn't have a shot. The Magic got up huge, relaxed, their coach told them to stop fricking around and they did.

Game was close. And it was a shite lineup to start the fourth as usual. Like why bench the only 2 legit guys you have? Plus our wannabe max player was outshined by our 2 way player- Boston. BI should have easily been the best player on thr court and he looked like shite.

Wow just got back and checked the box scores. We must have the worst stars in the league. Brandon Boston was our best player tonight too?

You gotta do some research on the function of context, Yaz. They clearly made stopping BI the entire focus of their defense. Joel and AD were even talking about it.
I don't know why y'all constantly feel the need to lash out at the guy. You're asking him to win in the NBA with the Birmingham Squadron roster

I watched the whole game. BI was atrocious from an energy level and lot of his turnovers were unforced. He wasn’t running back on D. Im not asking him to win but just play with force, energy and be the best player on the court. He wasn’t close to that tonight. You have to admit that and if you’re not you’re just giving him excuses.

Brandon Ingram was awful tonight.

They were committing 2 guys to stopping BI on every possession, and often pinch down with a third. For most of the 1st quarter, Jose was the only guy moving off-ball. It was like they were just watching BI instead of playing with him at times. When he finally left with 3 fouls, they suddenly started moving off-ball and Jameson provided a bit of a spark. They fought back and kept it around 10 for a while, but Willie trotted out a lineup with neither BI nor Jose and it instantly went south. That's when I checked out.

Agree with you here. Absolutely moronic coaching. Like this is what you look at when you want to fire Willie.

But look here’s my issue. You’re telling me if BI is pressured or doubled he doesn’t know how to beat it or make the right play? How is that guy worth the max type money or someone you build around?

I think it's a bit of both. He was bad and the other team was focused on him. It was going to take a super effort and determination for him to shine tonight. He just didn't or couldn't rise to the moment.
I just can't get too upset about it. We are missing 6 of our top 7 players and we weren't deep to begin with. We are starting journeymen and two way players. I'm glad they are showing out a bit, but we just aren't a match against a really good team, like Orlando. We did not stand a chance.
I'm super nervous about the next 6 games. We might not win any of them. We will be underdogs in all of them. Brooklyn on Monday was supposed to be an easy game. But they are playing good and are at home. We are wounded. But I'd bet big money Zion plays. He's not missing a chance to play in NYC..
EDIT: My bad. The game against Brooklyn is at home. So, does that make it less likely Zion plays?

Are you shocked by this? He's been carrying the load since DJ went down. This is why I've been scared he'd get hurt before other guys get back. Watch the attention he gets when he leaves the floor. A trainer immediately runs over and starts wrapping his knees.
I'm not going to say he was good tonight, but I also understand that is being asked to do way too much right now. Seriously, of the guys that played tonight, you can make a good argument that only 4 belong in the NBA and only 2 belong in the rotation of a play-in team. Orlando isn't great, but they aren't starting d-leaguers
