the only question I have is what are the Saints going to do
I'm sure they'll have a uniform patch and/or sticker on the back of the helmets... perhaps even a memorial logo on the field

you can very safely assume so.
I can also assume that rondo will notice it by game 11.

well to be fair, there is going to be 11 players running around with patches on at any moment instead of 5 which leads me to believe rondo's super detective skills will pick up on it sooner.
