No one ever talks about Herb

What's the point of him being in the game giving up 34. He is not a starter in the NBA. He brings nothing to the game offensively absolutely. He plays hard and he's great defender but that's not enough in todays NBA especially when you have NO SHOOTERS on the floor already with a big fat forward who can literally only dunk.

But there is a dilemma here. I love Herb but the question becomes for this team to go to another level does Trey need to be in the closing lineup? I say yes but question is for who?

Trey needs to show he can be a consistent scorer for long stretches of games before we sacrifice that much defense for a closing lineup that already has Zion, BI and CJ on the floor.

I've watched Every game. He's 3-10 tonight and 1-5 from 3. Give up 34 and his +/- is a 0.
Last game he was 0-5 and 0-3 from 3.... 2 points his +/- was a 2
He's not a starter in this team when he can't shoot at all. You have no 3 point threats other than CJ and that's streaky.

No, it's a coaching failure. Ja cooked Herb all 2nd half. Hey, it happens. So why not put Dyson in? Dyson played 13 minutes, had 3 points and had a +19. Why not blitz Ja whe he heated up and getting the star whistle?
Naji had 17 minutes, -9. Why did Jose see minutes? It's a bad matchup for him, 9 minutes, -9.
Trey had 6 FGA. 6. Some of that is on Trey passing up some threes, drbbling into turnovers but why isn't there a focus on running sets strictly for Trey. Why don't we see a heavy dose of Trey/Zion PnRs?

I agree with all that other than "hey it happens". He is in the game for 1 reason and that's it. He doesn't get a pass just because JA is good. That's the purpose we have him In there to guard the best player. If he can't do that he is useless.

All that other than "hey it happens"? In a star driven league? With 82 games? Hommie just signed for low end starter or backup money. In the NBA for a long time, offense always beats good defense. Are a lot of you people just trolling or do you actually believe what is coming out ya mouth? Is the sky blue? Useless? I'll tell you what's useless half the posters on this board.
