I know I’m beating a dead horse here but it just amazes me how a guy as big as Billy gets bulldozed around the rim every single night. Not even by just Jokic but Jeff green made him look like a bitch earlier in the game.

Yes, you are. I said Pels for blowing the lead. Like the Warriors last night. Didn't say BI.

Willie was trying to answer a question in the post-game but he ended up fouling Jokic instead

Did you see Jokic after he got in? What sort of question is this?

Man, I got caught up with something, check back in and we lost? Damn. If we can go 2-1 on this stretch it’s still better than I thought we’d do, but winning tonight would’ve been so sweet.

Our interior guys are too soft and they swing their arms recklessly on D. Hayes is a big culprit. We need Zion in to show them how gonads work.
Zion showing someone how to play D
No, how to be tough under the basket and take it to the D.

Also, Billy was giving up baseline too easily. Make him spin/drive to toward the defense where you can get some help.

Not just Ingram
If someone's gripe about this game is BI, then they can go kick rocks. He was incredible tonight. Yes, he missed a late free throw. But he was 11/13 overall from the line and we would have never caught back up to them after the early deficit without him.

It was kind of weird how it wasn’t really strongly corrected either. AD did mention it at one point.

Jonas looks like an eastern European mobster from a movie. I would never call him soft.
Looks and playing soft is different. I know he's limited athletically but get physical...lift some weights.

You replaced Hayes with something worse defensively because he was not in the right position? I get earning trust but he’s been a big factor in the Pels streak. I say let him learn on the court not off it.

I have never considered Jonas’s game soft. It was very obvious the difference after he left.

Yeah idk if Hayes would have been worse than Billy but Hayes was struggling against Jokic as well. A crafty big like him will have Hayes foul out in 2 minutes
On the flip side tho Hayes wouldn’t have given Jokic those disgustingly easy points in the final minute

I’m kind of pissed at willie that we didn’t double Jokic until freaking OT

Because it was working somewhat with Val up until he fouled out late.

I’m pissed we didn’t send in one of those dudes at the end of the bench to earn one hell of a foul with a right hook.
Posted on 3/6/22 at 10:24 pm to Macintosh
Yep, Hayes probably would have fouled out too, but might have blocked a shot, grabbed a couple of boards, and finished off a lob or two along the way. Maybe just enough to keep the Nuggets at bay.

Like what are we even paying Gary Clark for?

RIGHT?
Josh Hart would have paid the damn fine.

Was surprised he didn't give Jaxson another run when Billy was getting eaten alive.
Offensive game plan for him was useless tonight too. He was just a stand in the corner guy.
