We have the 4th worst record in the league despite being in the luxury tax and having a very talented team. I’d say we’re doing a damn good job of tanking. This draft is supposed to be the best of the past several years, and we’re on pace to have our worst season in 20 years, and we have one of the hardest remaining strength of schedules in the league. If you take the emotion out and use your brain you should see that we’re doing a masterful job of tanking.

Y’all have had two #1 draft picks in the last fifteen years. You can’t talk about “set backs”

And we held out Zion and Yves with “non covid related illness.” It was Yves’ second game in a row and he is questionable for Wednesday. That makes one week with an “illness.” We are tanking, just like Utah. We just have a lot more talent.

Tanking is bullshite. What did Philly get out of the "process" except a decade of misery for their fans and and the joy of knowing your team is intentionally trying to suck.

Meanwhile, where do a lot the "saviors" come from? Three-time MVP Jokic was drafted in the second round. Giannis was picked at 15. Curry at 7. Gilgeous-Alexander at 11. Donovan Mitchell at 13. Devin Booker at 13. It goes on and on.

A high pick is great, but not at the sacrifice of trying to build a winning culture. That's what the Pels should focus on and have failed at with Zion--taken first overall and said to be a "generational" talent who would transform the franchise. How did that work out? The draft will take care of itself. It's literally a lottery, and in more ways than one. Ditch the tank. Ditch the joy and mindfulness and compassion. The only sign on the wall of the Pels gym should be "win today you mfers!"

I hear about the "winning culture." For who? The staff will be gone as well as many of the players. Give me a shot at the better player that would give us a shot at winning in the future rather than finishing 10th-12th in the draft.

The Pels tank just fine. They just don’t know how to rebuild once tanked.

Tanking 1/3rd through the season is pussy shite. Save that loser mentality for the last 10 games.
