for me it is more about the effort tonight. They got punched in the mouth and then sat in their vagina blood after

The effort was embarrassing. And I know everyone wants shooters, but if you can’t move your feet against the Warriors you’re in for a world of hurt.

They’re basically the 14th and 2 way guy. Again if BI is out, scoring will be tough; Zion is still trying to get in game shape as we saw today. He aint ready for these heavy minutes.

Willie needs to make this team understand the effort tonight was embarrassing. Getting outshot is OK, getting completely out worked is not.

That’s why you need Zion to play as many games a possible and heavy minutes

Honestly the effort to me were 2 guys - Zion and Jonas. CJ was sick, hawkins was good, dyson and herb were good.

Bad loss. Zion and JV were pitiful. BI is a pussy. CJ struggled but at least he gave a shite. CJ had 6 rebounds, JV had 6 and Zion had 5. How the hell are JV and Zion letting CJ out rebound them?

Zion has played pretty small so far and hasn't really been been getting up and down. Like, he looks flat footed. Is this by design to limit joint impact as much as possible? It's making an impact that he doesn't go up for rebounds and, generally, is throwing his body around less. Consequently he's shooting old 3 fewer FTs per game (small sample size).

He needed about 10 games to get right last year. Probably needs 10 again.

Serious question. Has Zion gotten better at anything since he’s been in the league? He still can shoot, rebound, or shoot free throws.

Hes not in gameshape you can tell. Not making excuses for him but he aint ready to take scoring, rebounding, playmaking load if BI is hurt long term. Could be a tough stretch coming up here.

Hard to get better when you’re never healthy to practice and play

I feel like hes improved in playmaking. But again I don’t think hes in gameshape. He was doing those things in december when the team went on the run.
