I feel like hes improved in playmaking. But again I don’t think hes in gameshape. He was doing those things in december when the team went on the run.

He looks 40 pounds heavier than that December stretch

Well lets pray he loses that weight quick lol I don’t what else to say.

Its scaring me that this isn’t just normal knee soreness for BI. Willie said they’ll let us know tomorrow. Have a feeling he knows already.

He needed about 10 games to get right last year. Probably needs 10 again.

Trued to tell people not to believe the yearly “Zion is taking his body seriously” offseason propaganda that pops up every year.

Everyone was saying those pics had Zion looking skinnier, but I never saw it, he looked and looks the same.

you need Zion to play as many games a possible and heavy minutes

If Zion has to play heavy minutes he’s likely not going to play a lot of games. I’m afraid that body as it is can’t handle heavy minutes

Agreed for this team to be a contender especially with Zion in playoffs we need BI healthy to take that load off. Its why it’s concerning that both the stars are injury prone.

Serious question. Has Zion gotten better at anything since he’s been in the league? He still can shoot, rebound, or shoot free throws

I don't consider him reckless anymore. I think he's playing a lot smarter on both ends. On offense he's more system friendly, although the system has kinda sucked for a while, he plays within in more than when he used to put his dead down and just try to bully people with his body (which I miss some times). On defense he's not getting sucked away as much as he used to. Both ends are still a work on progres.

We know Zion sucks at rebounding. What the frick is JV doing????

With Zion a lot of it is pure laziness and not getting in position to rebound by moving his feet. Tonight JV hurt us, but I will say no one gets hung on like JV out there and he never gets a damn call.

- big part of this is being tired and not in game shape. Not defending him but saying it may be he’s completely gassed.

It was happening early too. He just doesn’t attempt to put a body on anyone, just heads to the rim.

Hes just trying to use his energy to score. Again, this on him for not being in shape but hes not going to waste his energy rebounding as he sees it. I agree with you its dumb but if he focuses on rebounding early on when hes out of shape, he wont have enough energy to score when hes in the game. By the way Im sure opponents know this as well.

Its also I think we need a Jarrett Allen over JV next to Zion to cover for his poor rebounding.

I didn't think that the extra weight mattered?

I'm just picking at you. But if he's not in shape now, how long will it take him?

People keep saying he's needs to play to get into shape. I've never understood that. He's playing 30ish minutes 2-3x a week. That doesn't seem to be enough to counter bad habits..
