I'd call it more of an extreme outlier/anomaly than breakout. Breakout implies that this is your new norm

What pisses me off is our team played their arse off and ran out of gas because we went all
Out against the damn warriors last night. Our dumbass coach played AD last night in a lose lose situation instead of on national
Tv with extra rest. I’ll never get it. I was at the game
Tonight. Waste of my money

Hill doesn’t have shite on asik. Asik is far away the worst nba player I’ve ever watched.
The league just passed the Asik-types by. In his few prime years he was a good defender and rebounder.

Solomon does nothing well. Its 4 on 5 when he's out there.

He does nothing to even an average level. Let's not give him too much credit.

’m frustrated because this conference is tough as hell to make the playoffs. AD has already missed three games. I have no doubt he will miss at least another 5-10 at some point this season, not even including games where he comes out early because of some random fall and what not.

And that is the most discouraging thing. Every game counts in the west, and you can pretty much book on AD missing at least 10 games this year.

And that's why he won't win an MVP missing games every year.

On the contrary. He’s making a fantastic case for being league MVP

I don’t want to say there is a good time for injuries, but the most frustrating thing with AD’s (and Payton) injury is the fact that it came on this road trip against West teams. That gives those teams (especially Denver and Portland) a leg up on us. It would have been different if we were on a home stand with EC teams. That 4-0 start is meaningless now.

Wrong. The 4-0 start was completely meaningful. Imagine they go 2-2 in that stretch and are now 2-6 instead.

Every team has stretches where injuries make them rack up losses. Look at Utah last year. What matters is that you rack up wins when you are healthy to offset it
