The NBA decided that Nikola Jokic should have been called for a foul at the end of the Denver Nuggets' victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night upon review of the call in the league's Last Two Minute Report.

Eyebrows were raised when the referees failed to call Jokic's block of Zion Williamson at the rim as a foul. As a result of the block, Williamson missed what would have been the tying shot with 2.2 seconds left to play.

Thanks

This is why I hate the belief that stars should get the benefit of the doubt because they are stars. I say, if your a star, you should be able to block that shot without fouling.

Call the damn game.

Okay lets fly back out to Denver and shoot some character building free throws then. Jokic can stay at home because he’s fouled out.

L2M report is so worthless. It doesn’t result in anything getting fixed and to my knowledge the refs never get punished for blowing egregious game changing, playoff changing calls, so what’s the freaking point?

I don’t want transparency. I just want these wannabe zebra motherfrickers not to let Zion get pounded into oblivion for no fricking reason. If Zion is someone you think is going to be the new face of the league, protect his arse. He should be shooting 12 plus free throws a game.

I am usually proud that the Pels generally don't whine about calls to the ref. Other teams and players do this constantly.

At this point, we've gotten screwed by the refs in crunch time numerous times. Two separate calls going Gobert's way last year. Last nights Zion no call and many calls in between.

If I were, the coaching staff, I would direct Zion, Ingram and others to start talking to the refs consistently without getting T's to work them!

It's so dumb and pointless. What do they think that they're accomplishing with this?

But that one guy argued so hard that it was a legal play. Oof.

Jokic wanted to foul Zion hard cause he wanted to avoid the and-one.

It wouldn't change something if the refs whistled

yep, all of Jokic's body language indicated he fouled Zion. He seemed legit surprised there was no whistle. He was intentionally trying to foul Zion because he hasn't been great at the line recently but without the foul is basically automatic.

The more annoying thing is that the L2M says that the foul on Ingram with 30 seconds left should have been an offensive foul.

The L2M report also showed Ingram's "foul" on Campazzo with 30ish seconds left that gave Denver 2 free throws should have actually been called as an offensive foul on Campazzo.

We are in the ‘mile high club’ because we were screwed at over 5,280 ft. ... lol. Seriously, if we had of just taken care of the ball the refs would not have been a factor.

Said this exact think right after the foul. Do you want Zion to be the face of the league? Then give him the benefit of the doubt.
