It truly is a total and complete clownshow, and it stems from Gayle not being savvy in anyway besides marriage.

She is to blame, but she’s too stupid to run a business. That’s why she failed multiple times and had 18 counts of fraud against her.
She relies on Mickey and Lauscha on everything and has for a long time. She will never fire them and they will never fire each other.

Also, the Saints lost out of their top HC target (Aaron Glenn) because Mickey wouldn’t let go of some the power. I highly doubt it happens with their stepchild Pelicans.
