It is pretty hilarious how this fanbase starts losing it over a couple weeks of good play. The December a few years ago where we were the one seed for a day, the suns series, and Borrego where we went on a little run when he was HC at first.

We won 26 games last year. I promise you it was more about talent than coaching. I can assure the win amount will be between 24-28 games with this new coaching staff and basically the same roster as last year

Borrego is a Zion enabler. He let him play just enough games to make $17M more a year. Extremely damaging half year of coaching by James.

Also felt like Zion was MIA far too much under Borrego. More than usual. Was a complete non factor for a large chunk of time in games.

I personally was just glad Willie was gone. I didn't care if Zion took over as a player coach, I just was happy Willie was gone.

The link? was a a joke. But no not everybody thought Borrego was going to fix this team and you know that. Borrego couldn't fix the roster. People were just glad Willie was gone and you had like Borrego Derangement Syndrome for some reason. The only good thing about Borrego was that he wasn't Willie. Nothing being wrong with being glad that Willie is not your coach anymore, nobody expected much from Borrego.
