could be his return to the 20 ppg scorer he was a few years ago.

Gordon stats are already solid. If he got even a few of the calls from the refs he should then he would have the averages most would want. I just would rather move Gordon because he has the worst contract and we have Evans and Rivers. I would rather spend that money on a C and SF.

He gets hammered at least once a game and doesn't get the call. His numbers are solid, but he's more or less a better 6th man than a starting SG imo

SG is probably the thinnest position in the league, which is why I would not be surprised to see another GM bite on Gordon.

So if he is a sixth man you do not believe he is a solid starting SG? I think he is easily a starting SG in the league. I think his contract is only $4-$5 million too high actually.

I'm 100% sure Gordon will be gone this is Dell last year of his deal and he needs to save his job.

Another reason for moving Gordon sooner (this summer) than later (trade deadline) is that cap space will be at a premium at the trade deadline as teams eye the much better 2015 FA class. It will probably be harder to trade Gordon at the deadline than this summer unless he promises to opt out.

I meant for us, he would work better in the 2nd unit.

He's an above average SG imo. Is he overpaid? Sure, any 15mil SG that isn't producing >20ppg or shooting 45%+ from the field is overpaid. I think he's still a 10mil/yr caliber player IF he can stay healthy.

Add Denver to the list.

quote:

The Nuggets have already taken — and made — their fair share of trade phone calls concerning their draft pick weeks ahead of the NBA draft.

"We've had a lot of conversations about a ton of different things — picks, trades. We're pretty active right now," Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly said.

The Nuggets own the 11th selection in the June 26 draft. It's their highest draft position since 2003, when they took Carmelo Anthony at No. 3. The Nuggets advanced to the playoffs 10 consecutive seasons following the Anthony selection but failed to make it this season after a 36-46 record.

So they'll retool, and they'll start by using the pick as a key cog in the improvement. Trading the selection for a veteran and moving up in the draft are the two areas of most interest to the Nuggets.

Also of interest, they are expecting everyone to be healthy by the start of camp, including Gallinari. That would make Wilson Chandler even more available.

Do we have anything that Denver is interested in? They don't have a 2 guard, but I assume they would rather draft one than trade Chandler for Gordon. Not sure they want Rivers either. They're looking for outside shooting, and despite AR's catch and shoot stats, I still don't look at him as a floor spacer or a starting SG in the NBA.

Denver's roster is honestly pretty solid. They have a lot of great role players, just no big timers. They need a little star power and some health.

I believe the guy that scouted roberts is there

Lawson hasn't been a picture of health,Nate-Rob is coming off an ACL and brooks is a UFA, so It makes sense that they'd have some interest if we offered him.

If we can't improve SF/C, we may as well keep him just in case someone's voodoo magic works on his knee right?

I thought he was named Brian Williams. Didn't he get murdered btw?

So many former Hornets in the dud category: Courtney Alexander, Moiso, Armstrong, Ike Diugo, Joe Alexander, Traylor, Wilcox, Aldrich, Bonzi, Ely, Wright.
