re: Lowe: From what I've heard, Pels really didn't engage much on Trey trades

His contract is an asset. He's underpaid slightly

Friendly reminder desmond bane went for four 1st round picks and has stats nearly identical to Treys if not slightly worse

What has this FO…frick what has this franchise done that earns them the benefit of the doubt ?

frick when you carry Mickey’s water you can at least point to a moment in time he had success…but this franchise has done jack shite since Gayle took over so long it’s really not all that absurd for people to be frustrated.

When the trade happened pretty much everyone acknowledged that it was an overpay by a somewhat desperate team. Everything that happened since has kind of backed that up. So why would we expect another team to do the same thing? Does one trade set the market forever?

Even if he's not worth 4 1sts trey will still command multiple 1sts unless we're getting a star player back.

Nobody knows anything about the Pelicans front office because Dumars doesn't even know. He probably keeps giving them a "let me call you back"

At a minimum, this team has to get a real NBA center on the roster. They are doomed before the season even starts if they don't get a center. The Pelicans have talent, but they are not good enough to offset a league worst rotation at an important position.

It's crazy that they have gone this long without an actual center. Teams could do whatever they wanted last yr.

Not without effort. Hayes, Favor, Adams, JV, Missi, Looney, and Jordan. We just tend to miss... Especially Griffin.
