Looking back, where could all of this been prevented?

What move would’ve righted the situation we’re in, in your opinion

That's the biggest, most obvious wrong decision

Tyreke Evans trade
Firing monty instead of dell

Either one.

Some would argue the Gordon one, which I agree on but I think the tyreke move actually set us back and felt the ramifications for 5 years.

Boogie not blowing an Achilles. We would have paid him and built off the success of last year.

Retaining the original Pierre Pelican. AD could have been coerced to stay by sheer terror.

I don't think there is any one place it all went south, but a combination of continual bad choices compounded by poor luck that ultimately derailed the AD era.

I have always thought from the get that the wisest move in building around AD was patience. Don't rush, stay in the lottery for a few years and let AD develop and then start making those second and third contract moves to put the finishing touches on the roster. Jumping that gun was the original sin and the franchise was never able to adequately recover and it locked us into a constrained path.

But even in that misstep the Pels probably could of pulled it off had Demarcus not torn his achilles. Heck, we probably still have AD if Demps bites the bullet and signs Cousins anyways. As i think AD truly believes in Cousins and would of wanted to see out at least another season with him to try and make it work.

This ^^^^

Not saying we would’ve beaten the Warriors but I legitimately believe we make it a 6 game series with Boogie.

Keeping Buddy and not letting Boogie help taint the rest of the team. Caused us to overpay Jrue and sign a million players to try to supplement scoring which still has not worked consistently.

Boogie returned like a week ago so our record would probably be worse.

Trading for Asik was bad. Resigning him and Ajinca was 10x worse.

Keeping Dell post Monty. I supported firing monty, but dell should have been sent out as well.

DeMarcus tearing his Achilles. We were on a fricking roll and the team was really starting to understand how to play together and win. We were killing teams leading up to that injury.

THIS.

We at one point had 30% cap invested in two bigs who couldn’t play.

All bc we didn’t have a coach who could convince AD to play C
