Let’s be honest: Are you glad the season is over?

I hate when we lose. But this season was more of a circus than last year. But at least last year ended on a high.

Now that this season is over…who else needs a break from this fricking team until October?

The problem is I'd feel better if we were going to improve but we aren't. The only way for this team to succeed is to have a million all stars on the team to cover up Willie's poor everything. He gets outcoached ever game as of late.

No, I am not glad the season is over. But I am a little relieved.

Yes. We weren’t going anywhere without Zion, and we all know Zion wasn’t going to play.

Yet every day we would have had bullshite hopeium to drag us along that maaaaybe Zion could be retuning any day now

Better draft pick and end the bullshite, all for it

It sucked for a long part of the season to watch this team labor - even through wins.

One poster said it earlier in the year in a game thread; “I’ve never seen a team make basketball look so difficult”. Excruciating to watch these dudes even though I love almost all of the pieces.

Don’t want to admit it’s willie but maybe it is. I don’t know.

Wanted to play Denver even if it meant getting swept.

Willie definitely has problems. He coached us out of at least 5 wins this season including tonight.

yes... but the really sucky part is i don't see anything really improving to avoid something like this year from happening again next year....

Yes I’m completely content with losing this game. Let’s hope Thunder and bulls win tomorrow

No this loss hurt

Bc it officially made the season a failure

And I doubt the organization has the balls to do what needs to be done next

1) Fire training and medical staff

2) Fire Griffin

3) Trade CJ for literally anything

4) Trade Zion and his Stepdad to the highest bidder

I wanted that November and December feeling back when we were the best team in the West and we had the attention of the entire NBA and were being talked about as legit contenders

most fun I had as a Pelicans fan since Evil Jrue sent CJ & the Blazers home in a 4-game sweep

the 10-game losing streak just sapped all the excitement out of the season

100%. I will always be happy to see us win but I was pretty relieved when the game ended tonight.

and the problem is it came when we didn't have either BI or Zion

right during that time prior to the Zion's reaggravation where we were like "if we can just hold on to a top-6 spot until BI & Zion return we might be able to get back to top-4 and host a 1st round series"

yeah... we didn't hold on

ETA: BI came back for like the last 2 or 3 games of that losing streak if I remember correctly

Yes. I can watch LSU baseball and Astros fully, two winning franchises, and not have to worry about this fricking shithole franchise anymore.

So frustrated and disappointed.

We didn’t do THAT much better last season and everyone was universally proud of how we played and the excitement of the games.

This season has, based on expectations I guess, been nearly as disappointing as it possibly could be.

A complete abject failure
