Should be noted the sample size for that is 30 shots. If 3 of those shot hadn’t gone in he’d be at 33%. 3 more did he’d be near the top of the league. A guy really needs to get to about 100-150 to really get a sense of their resting average imo

If only there were someone that could put Kira in the lineup more often to see if that number is sustainable…but that’s crazy because we would have to take one of our other elite shooters off the floor to do that….oh, wait???

Also, dude is a career 84-85% FT shooter and was a good shooter in college, so it’s not as if it’s completely out of the blue otherwise.

Herb is playing well but him having more 3s than Trey is just criminal by the staff

Well when you’re down 30 and the lakers are daring Herb to take those shots, he has to take them and just hope they go in.

He’s 31% on his career so far.

And all his threes this season have been wide open and all but 1 of them 0 dribbles.

Money to me is he isn’t the secret gunner his limited counting stats say, but I do agree it’s silly not to at least throw him in the mix in games like this.

Bronc I would agree and force him to prove it if the Pels were winning and guys in front were making shots, but with the hot mess that the offense has been since Jan 1st and with no other shooters picked up at the deadline IMO it’s criminal not to have found out more about a former lottery pick that was showing flashes.

Hey, I’m not disagreeing with that part.

It’s frankly stupid we aren’t throwing guys like Kira out there in a game like this. Especially one that is lost and we are risking our guys injuries

I mean what’s the worst that could happen? We lose by 30 instead of 20 lol

Philly valued Thybulle a lot early on too. Even considered him untradable and a core piece at one point. Not saying we can't make it work but it's going to be a uphill climb based on the makeup of the roster right now.

We don’t lose to teams like Orlando with gaping hole at the 4.

No tactical adjustment post ASB and no roster changes?

I blame the coaching and the front office.

Kira is shooting over 43% from 3pt on the season…Pels just scored 16pts in the 2nd quarter after a blistering 24 in the 1st…Kira still nailed to the bench.

Yea. Kira is our answer lol

Definition of a game lost in the first 5 minutes. How do you not make adjustments after starting out to a 14-0 deficit ?! Don't burn this tape, make the whole team, coaches, and front office review it frame by frame if necessary, and make for real rotation changes or change your play style. Pels hole card been peeped a while back yet they trot out the same shite like something is going to change ….sheesh

I disagree.

A front court of Nance/Vanderbilt would actually be very stout. Switchable, offers rim protection, their combined efforts can out rebound most squads, and due to their ability to sort of play line Cleveland does but with more mobility, you can contrast them with CJ/BI/Trey and have a more balanced lineup that can play with pace and defend.

Remember, our current starting unit is -20

That is absolutely dreadful.

The real question would be if Willie would be confident enough to bench JV or Herb and put Vanderbilt into the core rotation.

My gut tells me the guy would try and run a lot of CJ/BI/Herb/Vanderbilt/JV and it would be a mess offensively

You’re saying an upgrade to Vanderbilt-who would start for the Pels and improve the interior defense doesn’t make us much better?

The Lakers have the #1 defense in the league since the trade deadline. AD is obviously the biggest factor but he’s not doing it alone.

For the return the Jazz received for Beasley and Vanderbilt the Pels had the war chest to outbid the Lakers.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a more inept, embarrassing fricking mess than tonight.

They should all be ashamed of themselves and be running fricking shuttle runs until 4am.

Useless c unts. How the frick can you put up that shite show in a game of that magnitude.

Wankers

The Pels didn't have the "war Chest" to beat the Lakers offer. The Lakers had Westbrook contract which helped the Jazz get off Conley contract plus they got a very valuable 1st from the Lakers one of the most coveted picks in the league.

This game has actually made me fricking furious…

it’s unfathomable to play that fricking shite, at home, for a tie breaker, position hunting game against that bunch of pricks and come out and perform like that.

frick them all.

I'm sorry you came all this way only to have to witness that. It's unfortunate.
