I’d rather Trey take a contested shot than that shite Poole just did.

Poole had two of the worst 3 point attempts in crunch time you can possibly have

Get that dude off the floor

I’d rather Fears make mistakes and learn than Poole’s dumbass. The crazy thing is the first three quarters he mostly played like a normal person. He turns into officer doofy Pels version in the 4th.

Trey hit his final two threes and they can’t figure out a way to get him the ball down three? Zion crashed the lane and Trey was wide open but that big fat frick never looks.

It's because he legit thinks he's Steph 2.0. He is and always will be an empty stats chunker who sucks the life out of a team.

Exactly.
I said this when we made the trade for him.
He’s a really good and skilled basketball player, but he’s just not a winning guy.

You know, when media people outside of New Orleans want to complain about the Pels support, it’s because of shite like that.

Wait, we are mad at Zion about that close? Zion scored our last 6 points, didn’t miss a shot in the last 3 min, and hit his fts. Cant be mad at Zion because the first action to Trey wasn’t open and he did a dribble handoff with Poole to reset and Poole decides to take an all time bad shot with 7 seconds left. Poole’s last few games in the last 2 min have been abysmal.

My initial impressions

I don’t understand why Looney and Missi played together. I think that stalled the offense.

They went a moment where they took Zion, Bey, and Poole out all at the same time. They were the hot offensive players and they were successful throughout the game. I thought this hurt the team late.

I thought Peavy looked great pestering Brunson.

I don’t think Hawkins was a positive in the rotation.

I really didn’t like how the refs completely changed how they were calling the game in the fourth quarter. I felt like the Pels fought through it; however, I saw the refs allowing the game to get unbelievably physical was meant to neutralize the Pels scheme advantages in the game. The Pels were dominating the paint and getting to the line. They did this and it allowed the game to get sloppy and hurt the Pels offense.

It's has always been like this. By late December he's always back to a 26+ on 58+%.

I don't know how after all these years y'all still haven't noticed this lol.

I've said before, bro does not hoop at all in the off-season, probably scared of getting hurt. When you work out only trying to get/stay in shape but don't play any type of competitive b ball for months it takes time to get your rhythm together.

He's always fumbling the ball and missing shots he usually makes through OCT/NOV. It's really a rhythm thing in my opinion.

This is probably recency bias but it feels like everytime the Pels acquire a wing their efficiency plummets.

Murray went from shooting 46% from the field and 36% from three with Atlanta to 39% and 30% with the Pels. Poole went from 43% and 38% with Washington to 37% and 29%.

I do agree with this. Idk what it is but Pels players just don't get many easy shots abd the offense never looks in sync. The best this team has looked as an overalls squad was before Z had his first hammy.

Z always gets back to his usual dominance but it seems like nobody else has ever been consistent thru all these years
