He even has a pretty smooth stroke. Time to move on from Big Baller Brand

Anyone who supports Lonzo has zero credibility when it comes to basketball.

A guard that can actually get into the lane looks better than Lonzo

Not trying to pile on but he does look a lot better. He may not have Lonzo’s vision but he also isn’t limited in lots of other areas like Lonzo.

Lonzo's vision is pretty much reserved to half court lobs though and those occur around once every 3 games

Vision is useless if you can't create in the half court.

I think the hope with Lonzo is that he catches up to his potential. After years in the league and 2 teams/multiple coaches, we have a pretty good idea that he will never work his way to his potential. He just isn't invested enough into his craft. If he would drop all the side show stuff and work on his game, he could, COULD, be an all-star. It's a shame his baby brother came in and looks years better than him.
I was a Lonzo hater until we acquired him. I gave him a chance but I cannot defend him anymore. I thing NAW shows to be the better pro.

All I know is, when Lonzo comes back, if he is getting more minutes than NAW and Kira goes back to the bench, I say we riot

What is Lonzo's potential though? He's a streaky shooter that still sucks from the FT line.

He's not very athletic. The few times he gets in the paint he can't finish because he can barely jump.

He has zero touch around the rim. He's a turnover machine.

I don't think he's a viable NBA starter. Maybe as a backup defender who can occasionally hit an open 3.

But I don't think he's a good enough ball handler distributor in the half court to play PG.

I think Lonzo’s potential is what we see in his brother, but it should give anyone pause that four years in and he is getting bitched around by that brother in his first dozen games.

I’m ready to move on unless he can magically find some depth and better consistency to his game.

Kinda sad that LaMelo has a higher PER than Zo in his rookie year than what Zo ever had in his entire career.

This organization refuses to play or develop rookies unless they win the lottery

Who knows, maybe these injuries will heal up by Fri night
Bledsoe sat out with right eye irritation and Ball has bilateral knee tendinopathy, that's a new one!

If he hasn't done it in four years, I don't see what's changing.

I've been saying that we need to move on from Ball since he got here and have been getting killed for it. He is a below average point guard.

I mean plenty of players don’t find their groove until their mid twenties.

Thing is we really don’t have the luxury of playing that game with Lonzo, plus, I don’t think his ego has been humbled enough to allow him to play the role he should be IMO, which is as a 7th or 8th man ala an earlier career Marcus Smart. Which he should be paid like that type of player.

Neither of which he will accept so trade him is my position.

The bottom line is that Lonzo is likely expecting a much bigger pay day in his next contract than we should pay him. We should trade him for at least some value before the year is up. If we can't, let him be a free agent and see if there are any suckers out there.

Exactly.

Lonzo will never look like his brother.

They need to just trade him at the deadline for someone like dinwiddie

I got crushed for suggesting that before the game yesterday. It's time to look forward and see what we have with our recent draftees. You can't judge them playing in spots when we're down by 25 for 3 minutes. They need time to adjust and mature with good coaching.
