Sometimes you can just see a player and just tell.

You can just tell with him, he isn't an NBA player.

I know Herb is older but its crazy to think about that Herb was drafted a year after him. I mean Jose came in a year later and wasn’t even drafted. I really hope the light turns on for the kid in the next few games or I doubt we see him get serious NBA minutes again.

Bro that is a horrible stat line in 11 minutes.

Yeah no shite. I’m not disagreeing with y’all??

I’m literally saying his stat line was that shite and he is still “playable” because of the 1 “elite” skill set he has that positively impacts our other players.

I’m not saying we should keep him, I’m not saying I want to keep him, I’ve said Jose will replace him the second he is healthy.

But the facts are facts. He’s playable because of those reasons.

Any minutes with him on the floor are a waste of 1 of the 5 positions.

This would be correct if he wasn’t +0 with an extremely negative stat line.

I get your point, I understand where you are coming from, but it’s wrong. He does positivity impact our players in a role that no one else on our team can play except Jose who isn’t available.

Y’all are acting like I didn’t start this out with “yeah he should be gone once Jose is healthy and Hawkins/ Dyson get more experience.

I disagree hes playable because we don’t have a choice not because of his “elite” skill set. And if he keeps putting out those stat lines, you may see someone else. I feel you’re giving him credit for the better play of players around him especially trying to bring in his plus/minus. Again, I say one game so lets see but not encouraging start from him.

So he’s playable because we don’t have a choice because he has a specific skill set that other players don’t have right now? I said that already.

1 of those skill sets IS elite speed. He does have elite speed. It’s not an argument. Not saying he uses it on an “elite” level but he does have elite speed and certain skill sets other don’t have. That’s why he’s playable.

We are saying the same fricking thing and y’all are getting caught up on the word “elite” even though he literally has “elite” speed. Geez

The problem is your argument is just strange. You’re acting like if a guy is really fast, thats an elite skill set so hes playable in the NBA. I think most disagree with that statement.

No.

He has elite speed

Elite speed= better spacing

Better spacing= better shots for Zion/ BI/ CJ

Better ball movement= better shots for Zion/ BI/ CJ

Better shots for Zion/ BI/ CJ= better +/-

Better +/- for Zion/ BI/ CJ with +0 for Kira = positive impact.

It’s not rocket science. I’ve already said the guy will be replaced and will be an after thought once Jose is back. But “unplayable“ means he has no impact or a negative impact which are both incorrect.

was not impressed with Dyson either. He still has a ton of trouble finishing at the rim and is hesitant on shots.

I’m not ready to give up on Dyson. He’s like 15 years old too I like his potential.

I’ve never like Kira’s game or size. Plays out of control and has no shot.

Elite speed with no other aspects of your game doesn't automatically equal better spacing

No other team could give 2 shits about his "elite speed"

Elite speed with no other skill to tax a defense does not provide any additional spacing.

Teams do not care one bit about Kira when he's on the court. Thinking of the rotation we put out there of 10 or however many players we played last night, I think it's pretty safe to say Kira was the one offensive player they cared about the least other than Larry...maybe.

A speedy guy who can't shoot or drive, you just sag off of him and go under every screen, and you effectively take away that elite speed.

All the guys above me stated what I wanted to say. If we go by your theory and elite skillset of speed gets you NBA playing time, then we should go sign Tyreek Hill.

Huge assumption. Did you watch this last game? Did not happen at all.

Kira should lose his minutes to Seabron. What exactly does Kira do better?

Seabron has 1 particular skill that he's shown to be unstoppable at with every step of his career. I'd like to see if that is the case in the NBA as well.

But at the very least, you have Hawkins and Ryan who can replace Kira. I assume we'll give him more of a shot than 1 game, of course.

I don't think we need Kira as a point guard. We have dudes who can take the ball up the court and run the offense, which is why I don't mind replacing him with spot up shooters.

Dyson can do that with much better defense.
