Pels: Barnes + Tyus + Allen + picks?
You’re trying to take back around 20 million more in salary than what’s going out. Not a legal trade and would have us into the second apron

Yeah I don't think it would work. If you added JRE + Ryan it would be pretty close but nope.

Still not happening. We have to shed salary not take back more salary. Remember we still have to complete the murray trade where we are sending out roughly 20 million and taking back 30 million. If we don’t shed salary in the BI trade then the Murray trade will be hard to complete without going into the aprons, and we are not going into the aprons
Even if you add minimum salaries to make the trade work you still have to replace those with more minimum salaries which puts you even higher into the aprons.

How many 4 way trades do you actually see?
Posted on 7/1/24 at 7:44 am to Dantheman504
If it ends up a 3 team trade with Orlando then i'd rather Jonathan Issac and WCJ come back over Barnes.

1 or 2 is salary swapping or minimal moves. We already know it 100% will be atleast 3 team trade. What makes you think there's no way it would be 4?

Huerter is a good player who had a bad year. He'll rebound and he's young and a very good shooter.
You can never have enough shooting around Zion.
I have no idea what the final trade for BI will be but I know whoever trades for him will lose the trade. He's not a winning player.

I would love to get future unprotected picks back from the Kings.
They historically suck. BI is not a needle moving player for them.
He'll just take shots away from Fox and Sabonis and instead of Murray 3s, they'll get contested fade aways.
The fit is awful IMO. Meanwhile, the Kings have zero big man depth outside of Sabonis.
That said, we have zero big men period.

Sacramento unprotected picks is worth even more with how the cba is setup. I think we need to find the right players to fit the holes we have. Big man and another 3 and D. Big man first and foremost. After that, more picks.

I never said he isn't a good player. We have more good players and no minutes to give him.
You CAN have too many shooters around Zion that can all only get 10-15min of playing time....
Murray- 30 Jose- 16
CJ-30 Hawk- 16
Trey- 30 Herb-30
Zion- 30 10min
Center- 30 18min
Where the frick do we have room for another shooter. We just drafted Reeves and we HAVE to find out what Hawkins is. Enough with the "more shooters" bs

We have been interested in (2) players to take back in a BI trade package so far that's it:
Harrison Barnes- Tobias Harris.
Both PF's. Other than that we are shopping for a center. The only other rumor was Tyus and I'm assuming that's if we include Jose in a trade and have the space to sign him.
We aren't adding any SG's

Part of his shitty attitude was the Phoenix front office lowballing him after he took a minimized role to help the team win.
fricking with his money must have been like fricking with his emotions.
Didn't he miss a game last season due to snow or something stupid like that?

Yes.
Not getting many of those in NOLA.

This is spot on. Sending Ingram to Sacramento basically ends whatever window they had. If they get Ingram, they will be a play-in/lottery team until Fox refuses to extend and demands a trade.

Right, but that's the kinda bonehead that this guy is. He is not a serious person.

In many ways, Brandon Ingram would be a dream pickup for Sacramento. Not trying to rain on any Kings fan's parade.
Just putting the complications the Kings/Pelicans could be working through out there. Didn't even mention Sac would have to pay Ingram at the end of the season.

may not mean much but probably not a bad sign that people in the Sacramento media are hyping BI up as the missing piece

Have seen WCJ mentioned a few times as a target. Can anyone explain why, other than a reasonable contract? He offers no rim protection and is not a great rebounder. He also has missed a lot of games each season. Why WCJ?
