re: JMO...Not a bad loss and especially so when it seems

You're right, you saw this 3-9 record coming all along.
I don’t think it took a lot of foresight to see us struggle quite a bit without Bi and Zion, especially considering other guys have missed time as well. I’ll ask again: what team could play winning basketball without their best two players?? You seem reluctant to answer that.

Your hindsight is 100/20.

You continue to avoid answering the question. I wonder why??

I answered the question and then you cherry-picked the parameters.
This is getting us nowhere, have a good day buddy.
I still love you.

C’mon dude. Don’t be full of shite. I haven’t changed the parameters at all. LeBron hasn’t missed more than a couple games in a row at any point of this season. And check the Lakers’ record when both have missed. It’s not very good. If you can’t answer it to your satisfaction that’s not my fault.

They lost to the Magic two nights ago.

@AlexRegla
The Lakers are now 10-9 during this stretch without Anthony Davis. That also includes three games without LeBron and many without the likes of Reaves, Walker, Beverley, etc.
They're just one game out of 10th, 1.5 games out 7th, two games out of 6th and 2.5 games out of 5th. Wow.

Jose continues to under perform. Not sure if he’s still feeling his rib injury, or this was a bad matchup since Miami is relatively long. The length bothering him is what it felt like to me and that is concerning. If he can be neutralized in certain matchups, we don’t really have an alternative other than more Dyson minutes.
This is why you have to make a trade at some point. Graham's money and a first for a backup guard and a 4

What is their record without BOTH Toni and LeBron? Stop cherry picking the parameters.

Do you not see the irony in this comment?

- Herb is back from injury.
- Larry is starting to look like the bench big that was fueling our victories as much as early season Jose was.
- BI played 5 on 5 and is inching closer to return.
And perhaps the biggest reason we're better today than we were a week ago, we're 17 days away from the trade deadline and swapping Graham and Hayes for player(s) that will be more impactful to winning.

So now we’re just overtly lying?? Since AD went down the Lakers are 1-2 in games that LeBron also missed. And they are 1-3 in the whole four games both have missed.

I luv to just sit back & watch a good "back & forth" on just about any subject. But, I often find myself wishing that the obvious winning side should figure out he has won...ignore any silly responses by the loser...and just move on. JMO...I COULD be wrong.

Kind of agree. But when someone makes up a stat that is a complete fabrication it’s hard not to reply.

What stat did I make up?

I don't believe you made it up, but you were incorrect about the Lakers record without both LeBron and Davis in this most recent stretch. You said they were 2-1 when they are 1-2 when both have missed since Street Clothes went down December 18th. They lost to Phoenix and Denver and beat Miami when LeBron has missed since then. LINK

That’s what I get for reading Lakers beat writers.
Regardless this argument is hilarious considering we celebrated AD going down because we knew the Lakers would tank, and then we projected to be at or just below .500 once Zion went down because we were a deep team.
Fact of the matter is, one team is handling injuries better than the other, and it’s not us. To act like this month has all gone like we thought it would, is next level ignorance.

Point taken & I totally understand that point of view.

No, the fact of the matter is one team has had a much more severe injury situation than the other. The Lakers have only played 4 games the entire season without both LeBron and Toni, whereas we are approaching what, about 15 at least. To act like it’s been the same is ridiculous. And that is the point.
