From what I'm hearing he's in ICU and his condition is not improving, Bulls will pull the plug in a few days.

I will say tho I want to see more rebounds out of Hayes. That’s something he needs to work on more along with the obvious jumper

I mean you can look at all of my posts during the game where I’m basically jerking myself off to NAW and Hayes. They played excellent as well as didi. It’s just part of his game that people have said he needs to work on. Not saying that has to happen now but hopefully these next handful of summer games he can try and be more active for rebounds under the rim.

He’ll develop. This is his first pro game (albeit summer league but still) and he put up 28 and put someone in a casket. I am really excited about the young guys on this team

Basically.

If you go down the scouting report.

He looks a lot better and comfortable in his areas of competence than it was suggested, while the issues that have been raised(jumper, rebounding, fouls) are areas that you can tell still need a good bit of work.

But the good thing is he seems to be starting at a much better foundational place than Diallo(minus maybe the jump shot form), and he is going to basically have a redshirt season, so the sky is the limit for him.

Hopefully some additional weight will help him hold better rebounding position

Wait why are we comparing him to Cheick Diablo?

I agree. Five fouls in 21 minutes was unfortunate, and that was indeed one of the knocks on Hayes coming into the draft. He's definitely going to have to work on it.

A lot of us were saying that last week, but you really think that after last night? There's no way that Hayes is going to sit the pine of play in the G-League. He's going to contribute to the main squad this year. I know that I'd rather him play than Okafor, unless the opposing center is really big (Gobert, Cousins, Marc Gasol), because I think that those really big centers could just physically dominate him right now. But Hayes can add a few pounds of muscle before the season starts, and that will help.
