He should start and play every minute. He is the only reason the offense works at all

Jrue Holiday and Jameer Nelson combined: 38 points, 13 assists on 14-of-26 shooting. Plus-14 for Jrue, plus-12 Jameer

I think starting him the second half signaled pretty strongly that is likely going to happen.

Probably Nelson, Jrue, Cunningham, Davis, Cousins.

Although with point James that might not happen, IDK. But most games it makes sense until Rondo comes back. But if the Cavs roll out James, Smith, Crowder, Love, Thompson like they did against Brooklyn, the matchup may not allow it.

I honestly wonder what our record is if Jameer was here the whole time.

The grizz game got out of hand due to no backup pg

GSW was close

don't get so invested on if Lebron brings the ball up the court or not on how we decide to match up with them. Jameer could guard smith. Jrue on crowder, dante on james, etc

I don’t care who brings the ball up, it’s the match-up that I am speaking about.

But if you are going to run jameer that is about the only way to do it. Which is going to be an issue if JR is on that night because he can just shoot over jameer. Wade can abuse him down low. Cleveland is a game where I hope Tony Allen can give us some more minutes because we will need it.

Hopefully we won't need him to be a sniper. If he an Rajon can stabilize the 1 and actually distrubite the ball well that's all we need. It seems like Jrue can thrive in the 2, we might be ok after all.

Imagine when we get rondo back running the starting unit and jameer running the 2nd unit, won't be a huge drop off anymore

always was a GOAT...when he played with a real big man. He's older, but he is a great signing by Demps.

Great signing.

When can we reasonably expect Hill to come back?

it goes both ways though. Kevin Love and Thompson have to guard AD and Boogie...

February is the earliest month I've heard mentioned.

No huge surprise here, but Pelicans with Jameer Nelson on court have a 110.9 ORTG, off court they have a 96.8 ORTG

A net rating of 8.3 with Nelson on, and -8.0 with him off. His impact has been huge

both per Jake Madison

What I don't get about the On/Off Numbers is AD has been significantly worse than Cousins/Jrue. He has one minute shared with Diallo I believe in garbage time where they racked up an astronomical -200 NetRtg. Could that one terrible minute be why AD has a NetRtg of -4.8 while Cousins is 6.2?

the team has been so up and down (big leads/big holes)...if you are in on a run your numbers go up, in on a run the other way it goes down

small minutes so far
i think the more meaningful number is team rating on/off
