It feels like we haven’t won a close game in 3 years

Obviously that’s hyperbole but we definitely lose them more than win them.
Is it scheme? Personnel? Shitty coaching?
Like most of our problems it probably boils down to the fact that we have too many one dimensional players so in crunch time they become very easy to guard.

We don’t have any star players to close out games.

No superstar. A bunch of third to fourth best players.
To close out games you need a Luka, Jokic, Tatum, SGA, Brunson.
Instead, we have a bunch of third options.

On paper, the roster looks ok because we have some talented players but we don't have any elite payers just a bunch of pretty good and in the NBA three pretty good players so not equal superstar

I’m really hoping Dejounte Murray steps up and takes that roll. That’s what I hated about BI he constantly would miss the last shots. I really think DM could take over

Murray is only the closer on a bottom third team in the league.

The finals that he shot %47 from the field and %24 from three and had 25 turnovers? Yea I remember. He's been to the same amount of finals as Harden and will never win one as the #1 guy.
