Our war chest is pretty much depleted (LINK

We are owed the Bucks 1st this season, if it was pick# 1-5. We are not going to receive that. We have a swap with the Bucks for next season. We are probably not going to exercise that (because we will be worse than them). We have a weird swap for the Bucks' 2027 1st, with the Hawks involved somehow.

For our own selections, we have all of our 1sts (we do not owe anyone else). We have no 2nds of our own for the next 7 years, they are all gone. We do have the Bull's 2nd in 2027 (if it falls in-between 51-60).

Once Ingram walks for nothing, we will have Murray and CJ left.

Generational all nba talent and hardly nothing to show from it…..

Are you talking about trade assets and values?

If i had to rank out current players (as far as trade value), I would go..

Murphy
Missi
Jones
Murray
Zion
Ingram
Alvarado
McCollum
Hawkins
Boston

I don't think we have anyone else on the team with positive value (maybe Green as a throw in).

We need to start being realistic, if we want to flip the roster and rebuild/reload. IMO the only keeper on the list is Missi. We probably can't move Hawkins, due to a degenerative condition (but you can't count on him long term). I actually think that Murphy could be a #3 on a great team, but he needs the proper development. So I'd keep him at least to the summer. Everyone else can go..

No, that’s what we have for the assets from the trade. And we have had years of players, all for a guy that was expiring and going to leave. The trade was a massive success for us, and no rational person would say otherwise.

Now could we have done more with those assets? Could we have won more? All different questions.

Zion was the main player not contributing.

The Pels made the playoffs during the run without the core peice of Zion contributing. (Zion was not part of the trade)

Many of the moves made around the AD trade were done with Zion in mind.

There nave been missteps, no question...not every deal has been great.

But we did get legit dudes with the war chest. Zion is and always has been the issue.

If Zion turned out to be the dude we and 99% of other folks thought he was, not a single person would be complaining about the war chest because surrounding a top 5 player with CJ/Murray/Trey/Herb and even BI would give us a really good team.

Zion screwed the war chest more than anyone else.
