Shel, plenty of people here are not new to Pels Talk and have seen you do this many, many times. When Broski was still around, the two of you would do it every week.

It's because the organization and, in turn the fanbase, coddled him for so long, which is never good for someone who came into the league with the mindset of a naive little kid.
I won't believe it until I see it, but this offseason was the first time where he actually looked skinny in pictures compared to the last instances where he still looked chonk but fans would try to gaslight you into thinking he was in shape.

You just need a little awareness to realize how very little production is being produced by this back and forth. Nothing is being gained, and I acknowledge absolutely nothing is gained by me taking the time to type this. Just my 2 cents, do something that matters. Have a good and productive day!

This thread aged well already considering we've already started the "Zion doesn't look as skinny as we thought he would" rants.

Is this what happened? I don't think it is. Everything we heard was that the team and Zion's camp were feuding, to the point that he went and hid at Nike HQ in Portland. They also ended up replacing Nelson because Nelson was absolutely not coddling him.
I think the coddling was coming from Zion's camp and it took CJ to break through that barrier and give Zion a different voice that he would actually listen to. If anything the team was too combative with Zion. Zion not being allowed to progress in his rehab because he hadn't met his weight benchmarks like a teenager getting grounded for bad grades was just dumb and lose lose for everyone involved including the fans. Of the many reasons Griff should have gotten fired for, not stepping in and shutting Nelson down in the middle of a playoff run is #1 on my list.
