I want to keep #4

More I’ve thought about it, I would prefer to keep #4. I get wanting an impact vet now, but this team isn’t competing for a title or anything of real significance soon.

I’m banking on Ingram and/or Ball developing into a stud, and Zion is going to be the face of this league eventually. Pair that with a guy like Garland, Culver, or White and developing them and you have something special in 5 years.

If it was say #8 instead, sure see what you can get, but I’m banking on #4 being a star. I would hate to trade #4 for a guy that barely moves the needle and then see Garland as a top 10-15 player in the league in his prime.

Hunter or Garland are who I like. Either way solid young player.

I like Garland and Culver. Think they’ll both be great players in this league.

I don’t think Beal is realistic right now, but hypothetically if you could get a guy like him yeah I would move the pick. But I don’t want to move back and get a lesser player.

I read something the other day that said Beal is a FA the same time as jrue. It will cost around 70m to keep both. I’m tired of cap hell, I want this roster to be flexible before going for it all

I’d rather keep it or trade it for Suns 6 pick and next year’s first

Gain a first round pick and still pick Culver

Win/win

Mac saying on Twitter that ATL is offering 8, 17, and the Nets 2020 first for #4. I'd definitely do that.

Is the Nets 2020 unprotected?

I've said it multiple times that you could legitimately get Culver or Hunter at 8:

ATL: Reddish
CLE: Hunter or Culver
PHX/CHI: Garland/White
Pels: whoever cle didn't pick

17 would be perfect for bol bol if he dropped

I think the ceiling next season is a 6 seed, but in 2-3 years this team could legit be contending for a top seed if things break the right way.

Trade up for Ja Rule. We’d still have some veteran presence. He could learn well playing under Jrue.

I wouldn’t. If we had like #6 I would be fine, but that’s not enough value for #4.

I like Garland. Just work him out and make sure his knee is fully recovered.

I'd rather just trade for 8 and 10 and let them keep the Nets pick. That way we can still get one of Garland,Culver or Hunter at 8 then take Doumbouya at 10.

No 3 top 10s is too much to try to develop
