That's this draft though, who's upside can you say is higher? Robinson maybe, Drummond as well but he's a huge risk. I could see Robinson going 2nd over MKG, but after that taking anyone over him would be a mistake IMO.

Beal's probably got more upside, mainly because pure shooters are highly valued and people have been making a lot of comparisons of him to Eric Gordon.

This is why I love the combine. Gets GM's fired every year.

So Harrison Barnes was a better college player than MKG, better athlete, actually has offensive skills but a GM is stupid for picking Barnes over him? If MKG went to LSU, he would be a late first round pick.

CBSSports posted a hypothetical #2 for Harden trade.

Very far fetched, but does make some sense for OKC. They can take Beal to be their bench scorer and cheap contract while locking up Ibaka. OKC would need some more assets and Charlotte doesn't have them.

Yeah, they really need to increase their talent level. Charlotte should either take a risk with Drummond or trade 2 for 6 and 11. I could see Harden just signing the qualifying offer to get out of town after going from 1st to worst.

The problem with this is that Portland has two holes to fill, at the 5 and point, and they could address both without moving anywhere.

With the draft as deep as it is, talent-wise, I don't see there being a player worth the jump from 6 to 2 for them.

What?

I have a feeling you could put a Hornets jersey on Slava Medvedenko and some of you fools would think hes a legit starting center in this league.

Slava's a beast! Seriously, though, Aminu could develop into a solid starter. He and Ariza are not enough to avoid drafting a 3, though.

I don't think there is a chance he falls to us...but I would love that with the #10 pick

That would be a no-brainer, really.

Of course I was joking about Aminu being better than Barnes, but Aminu can still be a good player...

...if we do plan on keeping Ariza around, I think it would be strange to draft a 3 with the 10 pick and have three potential starters on the roster. If Ariza will be gone, SF is the biggest position of need.

aminu, the guy who can't shoot or dribble, and has 0 basketball IQ, but since he is 6'9 and can jump he has potential.

Maybe just a little

You should be aware that hyperbole is a sign of weakness in your argument.

In all fairness, Aminu did improve from the beginning of the season. He started off looking like he shouldn't be in the league. Ended up being a decent role player

Not at all, he is an undersized 4 who needs to play in an uptempo offense. He should never be a starter at the 3 I this league.

Oh and to answer the original posters question, Barnes is going 2,3 or 4.
