Where is David Stern when you need him. Our GM is about to frick up again and there is nobody to stop him. This franchise is doing one hell of a job in driving supporters away while having a superstar player.

This philosophy is not factoring in AD long term. I'm assuming you are looking beyond Ad right? Because it's no way in hell AD plays for a team with rookies and their development stages.

If the Pels don't start winning quickly, AD is history.

Doesnt rebound or play defense.

Why take a guy who is 6 11 and cant defend?

Waste of a draft pick.

If you need to assure getting value for jrue before hes free agent, then at least get back a #1.

This matter tells me pels management actually wants okafor.

Seems to me that playing Monteunas more would accomplish everything Okafor would with better rebounding, passing, defense and attitude.

I don't understand the desired outcome of what has been rumored - at least not from our side.

Montiejunas is on a one year deal. Okafor has 3 years after this for under $8 mil per

The desired outcome from us is dumping Ajinca, and essentially drafting Okafor with what would be our 2018 pick (value unknown at this point)

Dmo is also a back injury away from retiring. I want us to keep him, but he's not a 4/40mil Long term guy I want to pay for

I like DMo, but the advanced stats say he is playing worse defense than Ajinca and has a similar NetRtg.

Player ORtg DRtg NetRtg
Ajinca 97.2 110.0 -12.8
DMo 105.8 117.0 -11.2

This disagrees with the eye test IMO, but once you get a large enough sample size if the numbers don't change it will be hard to ignore.

I think the same could be said for Okafor and his advanced metrics. I believe Bunchy called him a "shite center"

So he has the worst real +/- for centers. Do people really think he's the worst center in the league? Same stat has AD at 6 for PFs with Pat Patterson and Amir Johnson right next him

im tired of people using 1 advanced stat to judge a player
