Baron Davis wasn't the whole team, brah.

His attitude inspired others
Magloire sat out for weeks with some left pinky problem at one point.
And Mashburn started turning into a bitch not long after.
When the three best players, the three all-stars start acting like bitches and not wanting to play, kind of difficult to root for the team.
Thanks the good lord for Dan Dickau and Tractor Traylor, RIP.

Have been an NBA fan all my life. Bulls are still my #1 team and always will be. I started liking the Pelicans when they moved here...but they are #2.

Mines an interesting story:

The Charlotte Hornets moved to New Orleans. That was when I was like "I live in New Orleans and love pro sports, i'm a fan of this team now!" It was a moment that I'll never forget.

or did you just abandon your previous NBA team when the hornets moved to NOLA?

I wasn't a diehard fan of any team. I would follow whatever team had my favorite player at the time. Shaq, Gary Payton, etc.

I was an NBA nomad as a kid. I could be found rooting for Iverson and Co. or Patrick Ewing and the Knicks. Then Nola finally got a team!

I was a Rockets fan due to the majority of my family living there and the proximity. When the Hornets came to NOLA I instantly liked them as much as the Rockets. I now talk shite to my family who are all Rockets fans and have grown to dislike them.

Diehard Hornet/Pelican now

Pretty similar with me. Born in Tampa. When I was 4, family moved to Lima, Ohio. Moved to Memphis when i was like 7/8. Started kind of liking the Grizzlies when they moved to Memphis. Stromile Swift, Shane Battier, Pau Gasol... Moved to Dallas when I was like 11/12. My Dad liked any team from Dallas, but I didn't feel a connection to the Mavs. I mean, I watched throughout the Nash, Finley, Dirk, Van Exel (hahaha LaFrentz, Dampier) days but never was a huge fan. Then the 2007-2008 season came and CP3, Chandler, Peja, Pargo, Mo Pete, and D-West came along, they got Dallas first round, and I just felt like they were my team. Loved how much the Dallas fans hated CP3, but I loved his game even more. Best memories as a sports fan cause it was just so new and they were such an exhilirating team. Started going to LSU in 2008 and that legitimized my relationship with the team (in my mind) by finally moving to Louisiana and living near my team. Absolutely LOVE ME SOME HORNETS. Lifer from here on out.
