And yet here we are. Same song and dance. Can you feel my frustration? I'm not some bandwagon fan. I'm sick of this shite. Sick of it man.

And you're placing blame in the wrong places..

A successful program is not built overnight, it takes a LITTLE time at least..

I've been using them as an example for awhile now, but look at the 09-10 Thunder. They only won 23 games, grew together, got experience and the next season came back to win 50 games..

The way the organization was gutted, you can't expect immediate results

Nobody was, and we really aren't as bad as our record indicates. The problem has been consistency from quarter to quarter. That's a culmination of being so young, and guys not having played together a whole bunch.

Not to mention the mental lapses by our vets like Jrue who is so careless with the ball so often

We did everything to win except that defense thingy. I’d love to see a commitment to tough defense for a game. Jrue and Kenrich seem like the only ones up to the challenge. Teams get into their offense way to easy on the team.

no one likes losing. but for the first time since this team came to New Orleans, we have an exciting future with the most dynamic young talent the NBA has to offer, a war chest of picks, the best trainer in the NBA, an international scout that found Didi in the 2nd round, and a FO with a highly sought after guy that has rejected many high-profile jobs

losing sucks and no one is enjoying 6-20. but a payoff is coming. it won't happen this season. next year? possibly. 2 years? strong likelihood. after that? we might have a successful franchise that is sustainable for the long-haul

that has a combination of all of that? yes 100%

or do you prefer AD + Dell Demps? or how about when we had unstable ownership?George Shinn? or how about when Jeff Bower was our coach? I got it, when we signed James Posey? no, when we traded for Trevor Ariza. now wait, it was better last year when we were hoping Frank Jackson & Diallo could turn into solid bench players

yes. first time when we have a combination of these things

You’re speaking in hindsight. People were excited about Demps at one point especially early on. As they were with the young players that were drafted. We watched 2 generational talents walk out that door. Excuse people for being down especially the way this season has gone.

The needle is pointing up for the franchise but the product on court is not good right now and the primary reason is that we don’t get stops. Tell Zo or Jrue to turn their man at least once or hopefully twice when their bringing the ball up. Have your wings hit the defensive boards. Give a hard foul. Anything to get the defensive intensity up. Hard to break when your pulling the ball out the net all the time.

No, people just need to have realistic expectations..

To many looked at the roster and thought we would be a playoff team, I seen some saying they seen us as a top 4 seed..

The problem is expectations were to high and people got butthurt when it didnt go as plannes..

However, as bad as it is, we are STILL only 6 games out of 7th seed in the West

Realistic people like yourself are ok with 11 losses in a row, No progression and poor coaching. You think anyone who is critical expects playoffs. Mediocrity is your game and you happily take it up the arse.

I don’t think the expectations are/were out of line, this team should be at 12 or 13 wins if we were committed to defense.

It was totally realistic for us to win today. The roster that we have should be better than what Orlando put on the floor.

I just don't think that Gentry deserves all the blame. Can we put some more on Lonzo Ball, who, despite doing some good things in the first half, ended up with a +/- of -22? How about Derrick Favors, who played 20 minutes and score 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds to finish with a +/- of -18?

Some of the blame here has to go to Griffin. In Kenrich, Jrue, and Ingram, we have three objectively good starters. That's it. Everyone else on this roster is average at best. Lonzo Ball and Derrick Favors have been disasters for this team, and I know that we all want to love Griffin, but there's no way that any of you would be cutting Dell Demps the same slack that you're giving our front office in the construction of this terrible roster.

He doesn't deserve all the blame, but he deserves plenty. His fun uncle routine works as an assistant, but that shite doesn't fly as the head guy. There is no accountability, but I guess you can't demand excellence when you peaked at a smidge past mediocre.

We got spoiled to LSU's offensive transformation, if they can do it, anybody can, no matter what sport.

Lol I love the people referencing the thunder. You know what they did that year they won 23 games. They fired their head coach after their putrid start of the season. The interim coach Scott brooks took over
